Last updated: 2026-04-25 · Effective: 2026-04-25 By installing or using MCPWeave ("the Service") on your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the app. The party operating the Service is TaskSynapse ("we", "us"). The party who installs the app is "the Merchant" or "you". MCPWeave is a Shopify embedded app that exposes your store's Admin API to AI agents (such as Anthropic Claude Desktop) through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It enables you to run 27 Shopify operations (read/create/update products, orders, customers, inventory, discounts, pages) from natural-language prompts. Plan: $29.99 USD/month flat fee + usage-based overage capped at $100 USD/month per period. Free trial: 14 days from approval, no charge during trial. Billing cycle: 30 days, managed entirely by Shopify Billing API. We never see your payment instrument. Usage charges: Each MCP tool call incurs credits (3–30 per call) at $0.01/credit, billed against the monthly cap. Idempotency: same tool/store/UTC-hour bills only once. Cap reached: Tool calls return a quota_exceeded error until the next period starts or you raise the cap (requires Shopify approval). Plan changes: Effective from the next billing period (Shopify STANDARD replacement behavior). No proration in MVP. Cancellation: Anytime via the in-app Billing page. Service continues until the end of the paid period; no refunds for partial months. All amounts in US dollars. Shopify charges may include local taxes per Shopify's tax handling. You agree not to: Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or model weights Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties Use the Service to violate Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law Attempt to bypass usage caps, rate limits, or authentication Send abusive content, spam, or unsolicited communications via tools that interact with customers Use the Service for high-frequency arbitrage or scraping that would breach Shopify's API terms You may grant AI agents (e.g. Claude Desktop) access to MCPWeave via the OAuth 2.1 Authorization Server we host. You are responsible for the actions taken by AI agents you authorize, including but not limited to data deletions, order modifications, and customer communications. Revoke access at any time through the Connect page. We do not monitor, validate, or take responsibility for the prompts or instructions you provide to AI agents. We target 99.9% monthly uptime as a best-effort goal but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced via the in-app banner at least 24 hours in advance when feasible. Real-time status: status.mcpweave.com. You retain ownership of all shop and customer data. We process data per our Privacy Policy. We act as a data processor for your shop's personal data and as a data sub-processor for Shopify-mediated customer data requests. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your subscription is active. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Either party may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app (Merchant) or with 30 days notice (TaskSynapse). Upon termination, we cascade-delete your data per our Privacy Policy §5 and Shopify's shop/redact webhook. We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email (using the email Shopify provides via shop.email) and an in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea (where TaskSynapse is established), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
